TEAM COMPOSITION AND SELECTION PROCESS
The Amherstview St. Lawrence Team consists of 10 players.
The team composition is as follows:
1. Low Junior — The player aged 18 or under with the lowest 72 hole score automatically fills the junior spot.
2. Low Senior — The player aged 55 or over with the lowest 72 hole score automatically fills the senior spot.
Spots 3 through 10 are filled by the next 8 lowest 72 hole scores. Two of these players must be 40 or older. All the other players must be 19 or older.
A sudden playoff will only ever be used to determine the low junior, the low senior, and the final spot on the team.
If two seniors are tied, but both finish in the top 10, then no playoff is necessary. The player with the lowest score in the final round will fill the senior spot, and the other senior player will take one of the remaining spots on the team. Should both senior players have the same score in the final round, the next two tie breakers, in order, will be low back nine and then retrogression.
lf alternates are necessary:
In the event one of the team members is unable to compete in the St. Lawrence event, that spot will be offered to the player with the next lowest 72 hole score. lf there is a tie for the alternate spot, the spot will be awarded to the player who had the lowest score in the final round. lf the players are still tied, the next two tie breakers, in order, will be low back nine and then retrogression.
